Step 1: The Optical Impression

This takes the place of the traditionally bad tasting impressions

-required time: just a few minutes
-only one image necessary
-high speed calculation of the third dimension
-no traditional impression
-no temporaries

Step 2: Computer Assisted Design of the Restoration

This replaces laboratory design. The doctor/assistant tells the computer what to create based on the optical impression.

-required time: just a few minutes

Step 3: Computer Controlled Automatic Manufacturing

This replaces the lab procedure. Benefit to the patient: NO 2nd appointment, no temporaries, no second shot.

-required time: about 10-20 minutes
-completely automatic calibration of the milling tools before each milling process
